Steel components must match the drawings, connect properly and perform as intended in real-world conditions. An incorrect plate dimension, hole location or component orientation can create installation delays and unnecessary field modifications.
Precision Fabshop focuses on accurate measurements, consistent layouts, proper hole placement, dependable fit-up and clearly identified components. We fabricate parts according to the supplied dimensions, materials, quantities, tolerances, connection details and finish requirements. If you have approved structural drawings, shop drawings or dimension part drawings, we can review them for fabrication. For nonstructural custom parts, a clear sketch with complete dimensions may be sufficient depending on the application.
Our steel component fabrication capabilities include:
The required drawings should identify the dimensions, material, thickness, hole pattern, weld details, quantities, finish and intended orientation of each part.
Not every project requires a complete structural steel package. Precision Fabshop can evaluate individual parts, replacement components, small groups of custom items and larger quantities of repeat components.
Our component fabrication services may include:
Repeat fabrication requires a confirmed drawing, approved sample or clearly defined part specification. Material, dimensions, tolerances, hole locations, welding requirements and finish must remain consistent unless a revision is formally approved.

Accurate steel component pricing and fabrication begin with complete project information. A dimensioned PDF drawing should be provided for every component whenever possible.
DXF, CAD or other digital files may help with production, but they should not replace the controlling PDF drawing. The PDF should clearly show:
Standard fabrication practices will be used when special tolerances are not identified. If a part requires tight tolerances, critical dimensions, machined surfaces, special hole locations or inspection documentation, those requirements must be provided before pricing.
Precision Fabshop does not assume structural loads, connection designs, weld sizes or material substitutions. Structural requirements must come from the controlling drawings or appropriate licensed engineer.
When engineering is required, we can coordinate with a third-party licensed engineer. Engineering is not represented as an in-house service.
We fabricate components from the materials specified in the project drawings. Common materials include:
Depending on the project, fabrication may include:
Material grades, sizes and production requirements should be identified before pricing. Material availability and supplier lead times may affect the project schedule.

Our fabricated steel components support a wide range of projects, including:
Components that carry structural loads or connect to life-safety systems must be fabricated from approved project details.
Steel components must match the controlling drawings and connect correctly to the surrounding structure or assembly. Our fabrication process emphasizes accurate layout, consistent component orientation and practical fit-up.
Quality-control steps may include:
Required inspections, testing, material certifications, weld documentation or third-party verification must be identified before the project is quoted.
Precision Fabshop operates from our fabrication shop in Georgetown, Texas. We fabricate custom steel components and structural parts for projects throughout Georgetown, Austin, Round Rock, Hutto, Taylor, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, Leander and surrounding Central Texas communities.
Components can be prepared for customer pickup or quoted with delivery depending on the quantities, size, weight, project location and requested schedule.

Yes. We can evaluate one-off components, replacement parts, small batches and larger quantities of repeat steel components.
Send a dimensioned drawing showing the material, thickness, overall dimensions, hole sizes, hole locations, quantities, welding requirements and desired finish.
Yes. Repeat fabrication is available when the components are based on an approved drawing, confirmed sample or clearly defined part specification.
We can evaluate an existing component for replacement fabrication. The original part, complete measurements, material requirements and intended application may be needed before pricing.
Engineering is not an in-house service. When engineering is required, we can coordinate with a third-party licensed engineer.
Pickup is available from our Georgetown shop. Delivery may be quoted according to the component quantities, size, weight, destination and requested schedule.
Need base plates, brackets, gussets, embeds, connection plates, replacement parts, repeat components or a custom welded assembly?
Send Precision Fabshop your drawings, dimensions, quantities, material requirements, finish specifications, project location and requested schedule. We will review the information and identify anything else required to prepare an accurate fabrication quote.
After submitting your request, email dimensioned drawings, sketches, photographs or part specifications to Justin@precisionfabshop.com. Include the required material, quantities, hole locations, tolerances and finish whenever available. Rated A+ by the BBB
